Brussels, 5 January 2026 – Airbus has appointed Reinout van Tuyll van Serooskerken as Head of Public Affairs EU and NATO and Head of Airbus in Belgium, effective 1 January 2026. He assumes these new duties in addition to his current responsibilities as Head of Regulatory Legal Affairs. He succeeds Nathalie Errard, who has led Airbus’ Public Affairs for the EU and NATO since 2012 and is moving to a new role within Airbus. As Head of Airbus in Belgium, van Tuyll van Serooskerken is responsible for orchestrating the definition and execution of the Company’s national strategy, working closely with the Airbus’ Commercial Aircraft business, Airbus Helicopters, and Airbus Defence and Space divisions. With nearly 15 years at Airbus, Reinout van Tuyll van Serooskerken is currently Head of Regulatory Legal Affairs, where he manages complex policy landscapes, and as Airbus Data Protection Officer, he oversees the Group’s compliance with digital regulations. As an international trade lawyer with over two decades of experience, he combines deep expertise in litigation, investigations, and regulatory strategy.
Airbus has established a robust operational base in Belgium over the last twenty years, employing around 200 people across sites in Brussels, Diegem, and Nivelles, and contributing to major programmes like the A400M and FCAS. The Company underpins the nation’s global connectivity, with Airbus fleets forming the backbone of operations for Brussels Airlines and Air Belgium, and delivers critical capabilities ranging from cybersecurity services via Airbus Protect to comprehensive fleet support for the Belgian Armed Forces.
